Founded in 2025 in Melbourne, Victoria, TSUBAME began as a simple love for Japanese railways and the artistry of N scale. What started as a local project has grown into a way of bringing thoughtful, beautifully crafted pieces to collectors who value intention over noise.

The swallow — tsubame — has long been a symbol of speed, elegance, and return. It’s the bird that defined Japan’s historic Tsubame express trains, from the blue‑and‑cream limited expresses of the mid‑20th century to the modern Kyushu services that carry the name today with quiet dignity and precision.

Our preorder system uses small deposits to secure your item, with final payment requested a few weeks before arrival. If a preorder isn’t completed, the item simply returns to our shelves for someone else to enjoy.
